Cotter Pin

Cotter Pin, often called Split Pin, is frequently used as a locking pin to secure other fasteners in place, particularly in high-stress situations where other fasteners may be subjected to substantial stress and vibration. Due to their design, they are an excellent option for securing slotted bolts and screws.
