Bonded Washer

A metal washer bonded to EPDM rubber, also known as a Bonded Washer or Dowty Washer, is used to prevent leakage through fasteners of hydraulic fittings, pipe joints, flanges, and valve bodies. A bonded washer consists of a flat metal ring with rubber bonded to the internal diameter, which is wider than the metal washer.
