Ribbed Lock Washer

Ribbed Lock Washer, also known as Serrated Belleville Washer, is a conical disc spring washer featuring serration on both sides. Designed to match the outside diameter of DIN 912 Socket Head Cap Screws, these washers are placed under the head of threaded fasteners to help prevent loosening.

Ribbed Lock Washers increase friction between the bolt head or nut and the mating surface by gripping into these surfaces. Installed between the bolt head or nut and the mating surface, they ensure a secure connection. The bolted joint is then tightened as usual. However, if the joint experiences a loss of tension, the washer will lose its effectiveness and must be replaced to maintain a secure fit.
