Rivet Nut, also known as a Nutsert, Rivnut, or Blind Rivet Nut, is a one-piece internally threaded and counterbored tubular rivet that can be anchored entirely from one side. It provides a clean and sturdy housing for bolts and screws to connect with when the mating material is too thin or weak to support the fastener on its own.
